Amber House Lanka Hotel - Bentota

The venue met everything we needed, nothing to complain about. We enjoyed this brand-new hotel. the food was great. the staff were great and lovely. the location on the river bank was lovely. It was just off the beach, the lagoon, and the restaurant.

We found everything really good, recommend it to family. The location was incredibly comfortable - just a walk down to everywhere we wanted to go.

I had such a wonderful experience at Amber House Lanka. the location was particularly good, near the restaurant and the beach. the staff were super-friendly and great overall. the room was huge and luxurious, with a balcony and seating area. the breakfast had lots of options and the food was exceptional.

The twin/double room here comes equipped with an ironing set, electronic key card, and coffee and tea making facilities, and the food is fantastic with friendly staff.

I liked this hip new hotel and stayed for 4 nights. the breakfast with curry, toast, plus preserves was satisfactory. the people were amicable and super friendly. the venue's location was marvelous and stunning on the river bank. It was right by the restaurant and the beach behind the trees.

Spent my Christmas here, and it was beautiful! the hotel is located close to the river, which provided lovely scenery. the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. the hotel room was big with a safe that we used throughout our stay. the neighborhood had a lot of options for restaurants and shops, which we enjoyed exploring.

The hotel's location also meant that there were a lot of mosquitoes in the area. We had to make sure to have repellent with us at all times to avoid getting bitten.

The hotel is located within walking distance of several beaches, cafes, restaurants, and shops on the other side of the river. Guests can enjoy the beautiful view of the buildings at night when they turn on their lights. the king suite has several amenities, including a kettle, cups, spoons, a fridge. the balcony is also spacious, and the breakfast and dinners are delicious.

The hotel lacks adequate parking space, leading to difficulty for those with cars to leave their vehicles overnight.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The value for money was excellent - I couldn't believe the spacious king suite and all the amenities it had, like the kettle, fridge, and safe. The location was perfect, just across the river from a quiet and beautiful beach. The staff were so friendly and helpful, giving us tips for local attractions and even organizing a boat safari and airport transfer. The breakfast served overlooking the river was a lovely start to the day.

The location was great! We had stunning views of the water and enjoyed watching the sunset. The room was spacious and had everything we needed, including a fridge and safe. We also appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who offered great tips on restaurants and shops. The breakfast was delicious and we loved the fresh fruit and juices.

We did encounter some street vendors while walking around the nearby shops, and they were quite aggressive. We found it best to avoid engaging with them, as they tried to raise prices for items in shops they directed us to. In addition, while there were plenty of cafes and restaurants in the area, some seemed overly expensive. It would have been nice to have additional affordable food options nearby.
